Equity Trade Confirmation:

• Worked on confirmation/ICON process for EMEA and APAC OTC Equity Derivatives clients, including
• Equity Swaps, Options, Forwards, and Structured Trades.
• I got an opportunity to be part of the client's language negotiations team based on ISDA (OTC) to minimize non-economic risks and streamline trade execution processes.
• Drafted and reviewed OTC derivative trade confirmations (vanilla and exotic) across multiple asset classes, ensuring compliance with ISDA guidelines and alignment with risk bookings.
• Served as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ICON confirmation processes, resolving trade breaks, presenting outstanding trades to clients, and strategizing risk mitigation for improved efficiency.
• Managed full trade lifecycle processes within the Derivatives Middle Office, including trade validation and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinating with drafting teams across products and across shifts, where we draft con rmations for Foreign Exchange Derivatives products for APAC, EMEA, and NYC shifts.
• Spearheaded the revision of Standard Operating Procedures for the equity confirmation and filling process, resulting in processing efficiency and enhancing compliance with regulatory standards across the department.

Process Improvements:

• Automated confirmation generation workflows for structured OTC products, enhancing STP rates, and reducing manual intervention, and turnaround time.
• Developed SOPs and process documentation for products and confirmation workflows, supporting better processing and team cross-training.
• Enhanced client satisfaction scores by aligning KPIs with client SLAs, and proactively addressing performance gaps.

• Led a team of analysts responsible for drafting and filing OTC derivative confirmations.
