Head of the Academic Committee

Fly High Foundation
  • Fly High Foundation is an NGO committed to educating underprivileged students who cannot afford classes. Our motto, 'Their wings do exist, all we do is make them fly' reflects our belief in the potential of every student. By providing free tutoring, mentoring, and educational support, we empower students from low-income backgrounds to overcome barriers, succeed academically, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
  • As the Head of the Academic Committee at Fly High Foundation, I am responsible for:
    - Creating comprehensive study plans for all classes, outlining chapters to be covered and setting clear timelines for the entire academic year.
    - Ensuring that all chapters are completed with sufficient time for review by closely monitoring progress throughout the year.
    - Collecting weekly updates from teachers to track adherence to the study plan and offering support in case of any delays.
    - Organizing at least two interactive workshops per class each month, designed to reinforce current topics through hands-on activities and experiments.
    - Providing training and resources to teachers, promoting collaboration to enhance teaching methods and boost student engagement.
    - Keeping parents informed of their child's progress through monthly phone updates and organizing parent-teacher meetings twice a year to strengthen communication.
  • At Fly High, I teach Math and Science to underprivileged grade 10 students.
  • At Fly High Foundation, we organized a unique fundraising carnival where we introduced an exciting concept called Fly Zania, inspired by KidZania. This interactive experience allowed children to explore and try out 10 different professions, including roles like doctors, chefs, engineers, and more. Each child was able to immerse themselves in these careers, fostering creativity and hands-on learning in a fun environment. The carnival attracted a large audience, and through this event, we successfully raised 250K Rupees to support the education of underprivileged students, contributing to their academic development and future opportunities.
