Role Objective :

Successfully Handling various activities in Domestic & Exports for both OE & Spares, Right from order management, material management (Sourcing, order management, inventory control and end to end SCM process) & parts execution through Road & Air shipments.

Key Responsibilities :

Supplier Management :

• On site assessment & evaluating the supplier capability with respect to material supplies & auditing frequently.
• Ensuring supplier capacity availability to meet production requirements & Quarterly monitoring supplier to ensure there is no gap over capacity.
• Perform root-cause analysis in any areas of significant failures (i.e. supplier quality issues, high backlog, vendor delays) in a timely manner
• Coordinate with material handling engineering team for packaging sign off with supplier
• Training to supplier on usage of vendor portal and digital supply chain portal for downloading the schedules, ASN creation and supplier reliability rating
• Monitoring the Supplier Performance through SRR report & identifying the gap to improve the supplier performance
• As a part of BS6/Titan Localization Part development team, ensured parts on time at DICV as per project timeline.

Order Management:

• Proper forecast, planning and monthly order fulfillment for Domestic & exports on time supply of parts by road & air shipments by coordinating with 3PL.
• Use of SAP(MM) for Monitoring warehouse stocks, delivery schedules, backlogs, ASN creation, inward register, collection date & premium shipment request
• Part potential risk identified through regular monitoring for End to end supply from supplier & take timely corrective measure to avoid risk to inhouse productions & providing communication to Stakeholders through Line feed Assurance meetings(LFAM) to change the order sequence of production to avoid production losses.
• Generate the 7days sense check Coverage report & planning exceptional/critical parts through premium shipment to avoid line stoppages

Inbound and outbound Logistics:

• Ensure materials are shipped from suppliers on time
• Follow up with supplier, end-to-end supply chain from Raw material to finished goods ensuring 100% schedule adherence
• Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes, based on Domestics & Exports schedules

Inventory & Warehouse Management:

• Safety stocks/safety days are derived based on criticality of the part lead-time, rare variants, nature of the part & supplier region
• Analyzing problems if excess/less consumption, finding out root cause through MBOM validation in SAP. To avoid parts over/less inventory norms.
• Tracking and closure of claims related to short/excess/zero/wrong shipments, which will affect inventory in warehouse & getting action plan through online claim.
• Experience on physical inventory audits respective to Storage Location’s
• Develop strategies to improve current supply chain processing/inventory management/delivery processes

• Handling 4+ worldwide customers ( Japan, Germany, Brazil & Indonesia)
• Handling 20 suppliers exporting to four global customers
