Fundamentals of GD&T

• Symbols: Explain the details of all symbols, including flatness, position, and profile.
• Datum's: Explain the establishment of datum and constrained six degrees of freedom for primary datum features.
• Feature Control Frame: It is composed of several compartments that contain information and types of tolerance.
• Modifiers: Modifiers are used to further refine a tolerance and specify how the tolerance applies in specific situations (MMC, LMC, RFS).
• Rule 1 and 2: Perfect form at MMC.

• Working with the GE PDE Support Team for concept modeling for engine and pylon brackets,
• CID support, and drawing checking, following all GE standards and ASME.
• Repair Support: Select the appropriate disposition, such as accept, reject, repair, or continue to process the non-conformance hardware, and write the substantiation in the engineering non-conformance portal of GE Aviation.

• Gas Turbine HPC Bearing Housing Assembly Drawing checker and new drawing GD&T definition, direct interaction with the customer in terms of project status, estimation, and technical clarification.
• Lean PLM Airbus 320 - Study the input like PSCN (Product Structure Change Note), DWG, and SOIs (Standard Operating Instructions). Identify the fastener and component from the previous installation/assembly to move them into the new proposed installation/assembly with the correct combinations.
• Highlight the proposed fastener and part used in the respective existing Bill of Material (BOM) to be modified according to the proposed Product Structure Change Note (PSCN). List the fastener and components applicable for the newly proposed Excel BOM. Output BOM (Excel) and highlighted PDF DWG after client approval, creating a new CAD assembly and drawing in CATIA V5.

• T800, T900 Engine IPT HPC Blade and Vane Modeling and Drawing Creation.
• Drawing checker and direct interaction with the customer in terms of project status, estimation, and technical clarification.
• Responsible for understanding the scope of work and estimating the hours required to complete tasks, preparing quality checklists, and being responsible for the complete quality of deliverables to the customer.
• Ensure continual improvement of quality and productivity.
• Assembly Support (Rolls-Royce, Derby)- Product structure control for development engine T1000 and XWB Engine and Provide the Team center visualization file to Assembly shop floor and Compare the E-BOM and BOM.
• DAR Support (Rolls-Royce, Derby) Updating the model and drawing as per DAR. Revise the drawing.

• Designing of Mechanical systems components for NGPF Engine and co-ordinate with client
• Assembly Drawing creation and Stack up & cap analysis for different module
• Create the vane and Blade model from reverse Engineering Worked in Pratt & Whitney Design center East Hartford USA (1Year)- PW4000 Project involves creation of 1st to 3rd stage LPT assembly model and drawings using wave link concept
• Worked in Norway Engine Center Norway as CFM56 Engine Repair Reverse Engineering Project
• PW4000-100"-1st to 3rd Stage LPT Assembly Project involves creation of 1st to 3rd stage LPT assembly model and drawings
• The assembly consists of outer shroud, inner shoe, the airfoil vane, and clamp
• Solid models and drawings were created for each component as per ASME and Pratt & Whitney standards, GD & T Feature Control Frame embedding and dimensioning using GD & T in drawings
• All the models are wave-linked to drawings by Master Model Concept
• The drawings were released as SK version and were reviewed by the Customer's design team and later released as production drawings
• Repair Reverse Engineering of CFM-56 LPT and HPT components

• Development components inspection by using Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
• Production and Quality planning Work allocation to the machines and incoming, in process, final inspection planning
• Projects Handled: Milled Impeller, Tube, Blower Inlet, Forging Impeller, Impeller-Turbocharger (Casting & Machining), Wheel, Compressor (Impeller - Casting), Blower Discharge Casing

• Periodic Inspection of the entire CNC Machines Shop Floor and CNC Lathe/Milling Operation
• Responsible for tracking & scheduling all Calibrations throughout the plant
• Operating Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
