• Efficient Operating and Maintaining of all Electrical Equipment in the plant for zero electrical down time & maximum productivity.
• Maintain internal power consumption of plant and other operating parameters within norms and its continuous improvement through energy saving projects.
• Improve and sustain the performance of the plant to achieve export targets.
• Operation and Maintenance of Power Transformer(Upto 25 MVA,Make-Vot amp ),Distribution Transformers outdoor and indoor (upto 2.5 MVA, Make-Volt amp) and Converter Transformer (upto 2 MVA, Make-Volt amp, ABB), ESP Transformer (up to 76 KVA, Make-Ador powertron).
• Operation and Maintenance of 110KV Switch yard (LILO) and 11KV/433V Substation.
• Operation and Maintenance of Synchronous Generator (Make-BHEL,TDPS) and Synchronizing of Generator With GRID (ALB Control,APFC control, Grid control).
• Operation and Maintenance of Protection relays(Make-Siemens,ABB,Micom) & its panel, Synchro scope, AVR panels (BHEL, ABB) etc.
• Operation and Maintenance of Variable frequency drives(Make-Siemens Micro master ,Sinamics ABB (ACS-550,800,880).
• Operation & Maintenance of Diesel Generator (upto 2500KVA, Make-Caterpillar).
• Execution of PREVENTIVE and ANNUAL MAINTENANCE of HT Incomer,MCC,PCC panels,VCB, ACB, AC Motors, Transformer, NGR,LAVT panel Compressors, Conveyors (Pull Guard, Zero Speed Switch, Belt Sway Switch), EOT crane Battery Banks, Smoke Detector, MOV’s.
• Preparing Daily and Monthly Power consumption reports, Equipment failure reports(Root cause Analyses), MTTR, MTBF, DWM, SOP’s for all critical equipment.
• Co-ordinate and Implement the statuary norms like relay calibration,oil filteration,relay co-ordination and testing.
• Material procurement through SAP and MAINTWIZ and maintaining minimum spares for attending breakdown to reduce break down time.
• Conducting periodic electrical audit and improved the workplace in all aspects like Equipment healthiness, safety, 5’s, etc.
