Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, build & maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure using cloud technologies to support applications.
• Successfully migrated legacy applications onto modern cloud-based platforms while maintaining high levels of performance and availability during transitions.
• Enhanced system stability by implementing robust monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Increased system reliability, minimizing downtime and service disruptions through proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Maintained metrics visibility using Datadog and Prometheus/Grafana to create useful dashboards and monitors.
• Create CI for application build and CD for microservices deployment on EKS/GKE with ArgoCD, enabling frequent and automated code deployments while maintaining reliability and quality
• Migrated microservices from ECS to EKS and EKS to GKE.
• Implemented Istio service mesh to enable canary deployments and traffic splitting for a microservices application
• Managed infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, maintaining infrastructure consistency and enabling version-controlled changes.
• Create self-service pipelines to create cloud resources, app deployment, backups, repeated tasks etc.
• PoC for new business use cases and implementation of solutions in development, QC, stage, and production.
• Completed migration of applications (around 130 API), databases, data pipelines, cloud resources and data from AWS to GCP.
• Established and maintained CI/CD pipelines, enabling frequent and automated code deployments while maintaining reliability and quality.
• Expert in Observability tools integration without touching source code for microservices monitoring with traces, metrics and logs.
• Cost Optimization for k8s by implementing the CAST.AI and kube-green along with on-demand and spot node type.

• ICT Design, planning and Defining SOW (Scope of work) for Project
• Automate jobs using CI/CD Pipeline
