The Project is implementing Ariba spend management tool and provide continuous maintenance and support to the procurement system. Implemented Ariba Buyer, Analysis, ACM/ACW modules. Started off as java developer integrating Ariba with an asset management tool Maximo and after a 2 week training of Ariba downstream and upstream modules involved in providing production support. Handled all the production problems and supported the patch updates and SOX audits. Later moved on to lead the enhancement team and followed the change management process in Remedy tool. Held a key role in rolling out Ariba to multiple countries like Mexico, Brazil, and India. Last year promoted as a project manager managing the complete 15 member Ariba team including helpdesk, testing, operations, technical and production support groups.

Achievements:

• Successfully implemented Ariba downstream and upstream modules and have trained the technical team and the customers.
• Formed a proficient rollout plan/strategy and implemented for more than one country and have achieved great success and smooth transition to Ariba system.
• Reduced 30% of the support effort and better business practice by introducing the new task monitoring system that proactively identify the problems and notify the support personnel.
• Streamlined the patch update process and performed it efficiently so that it does not interrupt any on-going development.
• Designed new eforms to reduce the time and effort along with streamlining the various avenues of procurement business process that are not included in spend management tool and have greatly benefited the customers.
• Improvised the team capability on a continuous basis by providing training on new best practice and new changes in addition to performing the procedural training of new team members on Ariba spend management tool.
• Have departed my expertise and helped the operations team to streamline and implement new tool for an effective operational process.

Achievements:

The Project is Integration of Ariba Buyer and SAP. My responsibilities include study the current system and its mapping to the previous ERP system and design the solution for new integration system. It also includes extensive communication with the business team and other cross-functional teams and co-ordinate for testing and go-live as well.

• Provided an efficient integration design solution and reduced any business and functional gaps
• Reduced any additional overhead and received great appreciation for implementing the solution using SAPJCo interface.
• Reduced time and effort by designing and implementing improvised eforms that handled vital business in Ariba spend management tool.
• Accomplished the integration testing with minimal issues and no rework of code by providing efficient technical design which is achieved by gaining knowledge of SAP systems.
• Gained a great level of customer satisfaction by proposing and operating on Clear and precise cutover plans and migrations plans.

The Project scope is to provide support to the procurement application Ariba. Have provided functional expertise to business solutions and worked with the technical team to resolve production issues and develop new enhancements. Have lead the team and managed the production ticket queue and performed the quality check on all deliverables of the team. Also worked closely with Finance team, business team and vendors.

Achievements:

• Have reached the highest SLA and got customer appreciation by strategy planning on handling tickets and resource planning.
• Resolved performance issue after coordinating with various internal cross-functional teams to identify the areas of improvement and worked with the technical team and business to accomplish the suggested improvements and advancements.
• Streamlined the project execution process by the designing and developing of various project statistics reports and presenting to the business team.
• Improved the quality of the deliverables by introducing an effective monitoring process in place. Effectively utilized the time and saved cost by documenting the best practices and training the new team members.
• Troubleshoot issues on Catalog Management, Supplier Enablement, SLP, Invoicing, ASN orders.
