Working as Sr. Manager -The roles include, Contract, Sourcing, ordering, Cost analysis, Inventory control, negotiating contracts, Claim settlement, Advance and retention and warranty control & recovery, BBU control, BGs. ERP use for PO, Invoicing of vendors and customer etc. Handling contracts of more than 200 crores.

Key achievements –

· Established a Framework for Contract Administration and Governance across all projects including timely payments, claim settlement, Contract amendments, Budget control, Claim settlement and vendor Management, procurement management, Bank Guarantees,-ABG, PBG, CPBG.

· Engineering Project manager and single point contact in department, with customer and with site to resolve and control project and engineering issues and approvals from customer and vendors.

Job Profile:

· Commercial Interface between subcontractors and Doosan for overall contract to meet project milestone, customer commitments and operational goals. Coordinate with Key Commodity Leaders on supplier selection & strategy. Responsible for supplier selection, preparation of request for quotations and all related communication with suppliers. Advance planning of monthly shipment, responsible for target achievement. Conduct internal meetings for project review Manage Customer communication Project progress, Contract issues, Clearances etc. Manage Internal Communications for timely project execution

· Coordination with PMO, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to fulfil project requirements. Responsible for leading negotiation of contracts. Ensure supplier payments. Ensure compliance of offers specifications, schedule, quality and contractual terms. Demonstrate leadership for the sourcing team while working with individual departments, sourcing activities to achieve cost reductions by localizing materials in alignment with the global sourcing team.

· Execution of EPC project in terms of main contractual obligations with contract scope of supply and agreed

technical requirements, timely delivery and quality as well as achievement of the expected profitability of the

project itself.

· Planning Negotiating, control and direction to all sections of commercial department.

· Prepare timely forecasting about costing of project. Review and Approval of requests for Change orders and

Amendments to the contract with Customer / vendors Handover project at execution phase to Projects Team

(Execution Phase). Check and monitor project with proper review mechanism (Control Phase). Working with higher management, Procurement and quality team

to ensure proper supplier / contractor selection / assessment as required from time to time. Maintaining

Compliance register for outgoing issues and analysis.

· Initially worked as a Engineering manager, Review of contractual requirements for supply and services. Design review of mechanical equipment’s. Preparation/review of Static and rotating mechanical equipment’s material purchase specifications, vendor finalization, Approval of documents from customer based on Master Document List. Resolutions of engineering issues with customer and vendors. Effective Leader with proven talent in managing & guiding multi-skilled workforce and enabling knowledge-sharing amongst them to ensure excellence in project operations; a reliable partner to management who can motivate people to perform beyond their KRAs. Expertise in CAD 3D & 2D softwares like Catia, IDEAS & UG-NX, Pro-E and Autocad.

· Having extensive experience in managing turnkey projects covering Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation, Civil & Structure, starting from concept to complete execution till commissioning. It includes feasibility study, project Start up, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and control, Closure including various contractual & commercial obligations. Controlling engineering issues with internal and external stakeholders.

· Report generation, meeting with vendors and customers for higher management and to resolve ongoing project issues. Worked closely with Proposal, tendering and marketing team during bidding new projects and meeting with customers for pre and Post bid meeting. Man hour planning and management.

· Lead a team of engineers for Mechanical design and layout.

· Preparation of tendering and proposal documents, Techno commercial for bidding new projects.

· Worked towards complete steam turbine packages of Retrofit Nuclear and Thermal Power Plant

· Prepared retrofit designs of Fossil and Nuclear Steam Turbines.

· Performed layout and detail engineering of steam turbine component (static and/or moving) in CATIA V5; assessed turbine parts in workshops and on site

· Completed R&D project for concept design and cost for Chinese fleet in China, on the basis of R&D development ALSTOM and captured Chinese market with high retrofit order

· Gained measurement experience for OEM and non-OEM like LMZ, Westinghouse and Toshiba turbines

· Engineering Documents preparation for turbine blading for HP,IP and LP Turbines.

· Worked 3 Months in Alstom Rugby, UK in Turbine and Blade design project.

· Visited China for Turbine design and measurement to develop concept design of OEM and NON OEM machines
