My duty, as Finance & Procurement Manager of the company has started since its very inception. I have undertaken the challenging responsibilities of establishing the accounting system for the co., from zero level to the current status, which included the development of the company's accounting policies and procedures. As a founding member of the company’s activities and accounting system, I have participated in the various activities of the company Including financial and non-financial aspects. I coordinate with project managers on their daily activities at projects they are working and prepare project status reports on weekly basis. I make sure that projects are executed below the budgeted amount and monitor the funds allocation. With my strong network that I built in my 20 years of life in Saudi Arabia, I could add new clients for the company.

Prime responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:

  • Preparation of quarterly, half yearly, and yearly financial statements
  • Providing Management with reports relevant for decision making
  • Overseeing all aspects of financial control in the business
  • Monitoring & controlling General ledger
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts & VAT returns
  • Coordination with the Project Managers in the process for preparation of the project-wise budgets
  • Closely monitor key suppliers/vendors and evaluate their performance
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of purchase
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
  • Analysed and developed procurement plans with cost-effective solutions and increased purchase power.
  • Maintains supplier material selection database
  • Processing the payment to suppliers and service providers
  • Follow-up of the receivables
  • Close monitoring of the project manager’s finance and nonfinance related documents at the time of client’s invoice submission.
  • Negotiated contracts and terms successfully, delivering cost and operational efficiency for group.
  • Evaluated procurement processes and used results to improve workflows and procedures.

  • Acted as an Internal Auditor for subsidiary companies by assisting and monitoring the performance of accountants of the subsidiary companies on their day-to-day activities and acted as a consultant on the various finance related issues.
  • Implemented cost-control measures, optimising expenditure within budgetary constraints.
  • Contributed to hiring process by interviewing applicants and making recommendations for best-suited candidates.
  • Represented business in negotiations with external partners.
