Key Responsibilities:

· Sourcing and Procurement of API’s & Excipients from Indian & Overseas Market for formulation manufacturing at own and various loan licensee location

· Achieving targeted Purchase Price Variance by cost reduction

· Procurement and Logistical movement of Finished Formulations, Cosmetics & Devices.

· Alternate vendor development for risk mitigation / Cost reduction

· Licensing with DCGI for import of API's, Formulations & Devices.

· Negotiating API’s & Excipients for various Third Party manufacturers.

· Backward Integration of Key API's & Vitamins.

· Monitoring stock and Forward Coverage of key API's and Vitamins to avoid stock out situation.

· E-procurement of various materials using “Abbottsource” software.

· Lisoning with various Govt Dept. e.g. Customs, ADC, DCGI, NPPA, Govt. Opium, Narcotics etc.

§ Recognition from iENABLE team for contribution in successful contribution in project iENABLE– SAP implementation.

§ Received two President Awards – Topmost award in Abbott.

§ Backward Integration of Ascorbic Acid, Sodium Ascorbate and Paracetamol with cost benefit.

§ Fastest clearance of imported consignments by Air and Sea.

Key Responsibilities:

· Procurement of Bulk drugs and Intermediates for three manufacturing locations. i.e Bulk Drugs, Bio-Tech & Formulation located at Thane, Pune and Ankleswar.

· Procurement of chemicals, Intermediates and Bulk Drugs for development of new products required in R&D Department.

· Procurement of Promotional materials for Formulation marketing.

· Coordination with 3rd parties and Loan licensee for Formulation and API procurement.

· Involvement as a Core Team member of MM Module in SAP Implementation.

· Coordination with CHA for Customs Clearance and Logistical movements of Imported Consignments.

· Coordination with Drug Controller of India for various Import, Export and Test Licenses.

· Allocation & Utilisation of Advance Licenses & DEPB Licenses for Export and Import of all divisions.

Achievements

§ Successful completion of project ASHA – SAP implementation in record time of 5 months.

§ Achieved targeted PPV in RM procurement set by business heads.

§ Cost effective and timely delivery of promo inputs to marketing dept.

§ Vendor development for by sourcing in-house produced API’s and Intermediates form overseas supplier which leads to cost reduction and utilization of free capacity for other products.
