Pot Manager
Production Planning & control
· Managing overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the time and cost parameters.
· Admin assistant to establishment section and HR, logistic support and service support to pot room operation
Quality assurance
· Maintaining various quality standards such as 5S practices, Six Sigma and obedient to core values.
· Monitoring adherence to quality systems and complying with various quality standards.
· Conducting Management Review meeting & Internal Audit to ensure the compliance of Systems.
Man Management
· Planning effective manpower deployment & works scheduling of qualified workforce; addressing training needs of staff to enhance skills and productivity.
· Managing a team of supervisor, trainees’ workmen and guiding them to address and resolve performance bottlenecks along with imparting in-house training.
Leading and training the teams to identify scope for productivity improvement & quality improvement in existing manufacturing process & improving them.
As Pot Start Up Supervisor
· Pot acceptance, measurement, inspection& pot preparation.
· Energizing and preheating of the pot.
· In preheating mode pot all measurement & correction.
· Measuring ACD & temperature as per scheduled hours Pot early life monitoring.
· Bath making in donor pot for start-up& as per requirement, start up, Bath pouring, Metal-pouring.
· Operating overhead crane machine.
· Take leading in startup critical activities like Bus bar charging & Pot cut out.
Roles & Responsibilities as Operation Pot Manager
· Working as Operation Pot Manager and crane operator responsible for Daily
· Production, and quality control of aluminium pot line.
· Responsible for manpower utilization, hot metal production, pot Parameter control, maintaining raw
· material consumptions.
· Achieve the production target as per business plan without compromising metal purity.
