Parts Catalogue Development and Management.

Catalogue Creation & Maintenance:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining the parts catalogue and for both NPD (New Product Development) and existing products.
• Identify spare parts, assembly levels, and provide serviceability information for all spare parts.
• Develop and maintain an E-Catalogue, ensuring it is published on the web for easy access by stakeholders.
• Create SPD part numbers referencing OEM part numbers and ensure catalogues are up-to-date with the latest information.
• Successfully completed an online chassis-based catalogue project for all ranges of vehicles at International Tractors Limited.
• Work on continuous improvements of the E-Catalogue server and identify development scope for further web-based enhancements in coordination with the IT team.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Management & Analysis

BOM Verification & Analysis:

• Analyze Engineering Bill of Materials (E-BOM) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (M-BOM) to assess part serviceability and create S-BOM (Service Bill of Materials).
• Study and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and BOM changes for design modifications, ensuring parts catalogues and part master are updated accordingly.

Team Collaboration & Technical Support

Illustration Guidance & Training:

• Guide team members in creating and modifying illustrations for easy understanding of spare parts locations in Parts catalogue.
• Provide training to dealers and technicians on catalogue operating procedures and product-related information.

Customer Support:

• Resolve customer queries within specified time frames, providing timely product support.
• Maintain logs for customer queries to identify process bugs and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and product information to parts managers and other stakeholders.

Reporting & Process Improvement

Efficiency Reporting:

• Prepare weekly and monthly process efficiency reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Regularly communicate with R&D teams to implement engineering changes and update parts catalogues and part masters accordingly.

Process & Regulation Implementation:

• Settle and enforce new rules and regulations within the team to ensure alignment with industry standards and internal policies.
• Proactively update internal work flows and best practices, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and operational regulations.
• Establish new processes to improve efficiency and compliance, streamlining operations and minimizing errors.

Project Management & Accomplishments

Query System for Distributors & Dealers:

• Successfully completed the development of a query system for distributors and dealers to improve communication and issue resolution.
