1. Trade Operations & Settlements

• Oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle for equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
• Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement.
• Monitor exceptions and resolve breaks in trade matching and settlement.

2. Risk & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (SEBI, MiFID, Dodd-Frank, etc.).
• Implement controls to mitigate operational and market risks.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and audit standards.

3. Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team handling capital market operations.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Conduct training sessions for new joiners and upskill team members.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a point of contact for clients, custodians, and counterparties.
• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with front office, middle office, and back office teams.

5. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and implement automation or workflow enhancements.
• Drive initiatives to reduce settlement failures and improve STP (Straight Through Processing).
