Role: Senior Test Engineer.

• Understanding the business requirements and test plan, translating them into test cases with comprehensive test coverage.
• Supporting onsite folks for execution and authoring test cases for new changes.
• Participate in stand-up meetings and follow up with the updates provided by onsite folks, and share the same with the rest of the team members.
• Initiating the touch-base calls every day with line-of-business people and the onsite team.
• Helping and guiding other team members through knowledge-sharing sessions for the Manual, Automation, and Performance teams.

• Preparing test cases as per functionality.
• Executing the test cases and defect tracking. Involved in writing test scripts using Java and executed.
• Tracking the changes in the application or object changes, and updating the scripts as per the changes, identifies it. Writing test scripts using the Page Object Model.

PROJECT 1

Client: Bright Horizons.

Project: CEP, PP, CRM, and MS Dynamics AX (Payment Testing)

Team size: 20.

Role: Test Engineer.

• Understanding the business requirements and test plan, translating them into test cases with comprehensive test coverage.
• Once, CSC Dev. Works on new requirements, fixes bugs in a build, and posts it to the QA environment. We validate the build using automated regression testing, and then run the requirements-related test cases and test bugs. Involved in application testing.
• Log bugs for failed test cases, re-activate or close bugs per their testing in MTM.
• Hands off the tested requirements, with a log of bugs logged to the BHQE team. Run basic regression test cases, and then test the requirements and resolve bugs in TFS.
• BHQE hands off working requirements to end users for UAT.
• Support UAT test case execution; all test cases should be reviewed in MTM.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, and follow up with the Bright Horizons project team.
• Retest defects once they have been addressed, and execute final smoke testing.
