• Implemented GHA automation pipelines for SQLVM provisioning, Compute upgrade pipeline for database configurations,Database copy and restore pipeline and Decommission of azure database products.

• Implemented GHA automation pipelines to load GCP inventory data.

DB Acceleration:

• In the E2B Migration project, we have been involved in migrating servers from on-premises to the Azure cloud.
• Utilized Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Migration Assistant for data migration.
• Migrated data from SQL, Oracle, and DB2 sources to Azure SQL Server.
• Developed table partitions for large datasets to enhance performance.
• Converted stored procedures, views, and triggers to comply with Azure SQL syntax.

Gateway Health Plan - ODS

• Gateway Health Plan (GHP) is currently implementing Health Rules Payor (HRP) as the new core claim adjudication system to replace their existing system. The backend of HRP is an On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) database. The OLTP is a Health Edge proprietary database, which is highly normalized and optimized for transactional processing. The data in OLTP is then automatically extracted to fill the Health Rules Data Warehouse (HRDW). HRDW is usually served as the data source by the downstream processes for reporting, analyzing, and other business use. The HRDW data model makes use of a Star Schema that consists of Dimension and Fact tables, including Code Tables which are highly normalized. The tables are joined with the help of surrogate keys. As there are many tables involved with highly normalized organizations, it usually requires many joins to arrive at the required information in a meaningful way. This will make the access of Health Edge information by downstream applications inefficient, as it consumes more time to retrieve the data. It also means that every application that requires the data from HRP may have to incorporate similar complicated logic to arrive at the desired information. To address these issues, an ODS is planned to be modelled and implemented, where data required by the downstream applications will be in a more readily available form, thus will help all downstream applications to consistently get the same derived results with more efficient way of data access.
• Involved in coding and doing exhaustive unit testing of programs written and was involved in incorporating changes to the existing stored procedure to meet the new enhancement/bug fix requirements of the client.
• Worked on migrating the data from oracle to sql server using attunity replicate.
• Creating new interfaces/mapping for extracting data from HRDW to intermediate tables using stored procedures and Attunity compose.
