 As a college student, I have had the opportunity to give back to my community through volunteering. During the winter months in Kolkata, I took part in a volunteer initiative to provide warm clothing and hot meals to underprivileged children. It was a rewarding experience to see the smiles on their faces and to know that I was making a positive impact on their lives. Not only did I help keep them warm and fed, but I also developed important skills like teamwork, leadership, and compassion. Additionally, I have always had a love for animals, especially stray dogs. I took the opportunity to volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I helped care for the dogs by providing food, shelter, and medical attention. Volunteering in college has been a meaningful and enriching experience that has taught me the importance of giving back and making a difference in the world.
