· Participate and lead the fire crew in handling emergencies as per Emergency Response & Disaster management Plan (ERDMP).

· ITM (Inspection, testing and maintenance) fire vehicles, fire protection systems, fire & safety equipments by periodically checking

· Impart training to employee/crew and frequently conduct TBT, Safety meetings and Learning from Incidents from case studies.

· Conduct and participate in Mock drills and various fire drills for fire crew in shifts etc. and preparing report.

· Fire and Safety Management Audits – Internal and External.

Review new design at commissioning phase of Plant. Prepare consequence analysis, PHA and HAZOP for new facility.

· Knowledge of Regulatory/Statutory compliances at Drilling Rig Site.

· Implementation of relevant Work Permit System and SOPs

· Participation in HAZOP studies

· MIS/Reporting of safety statistics including Near-miss, LTI etc.

· Ensures the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.

· Assists the Commercial, Projects and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.

· Takes part in accident / incident investigation.

· Performs Risk Assessment.

· Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.

· Provides Fire and Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for project commissioning activities.
