Karbala Refinery Project, Iraq Karbala Refinery Project is equipped with more than 20 processing units to produce LPG, motor gasoline, aviation turbine kerosene, kerosene, diesel, heavy diesel, fuel oil, bitumen and solid sulfur. The capacity of the refinery is 1,40,000 BPSD and handling Poly Naptha Unit having Design to process 11500 BPSD of olefinic rich BUTENE/PROPENE LPG coming from FCC Unit to produce high Octane gasoline blending stock. LPG Unit is designed to process 9200 BPSD of LPG feedstock for Basrah Case and 10950 BPSD for Mishrif Case. The Unit turn-down capacity is 50% of the design charge rate.

● By hydro-treating unstabilized naphtha to eliminate sulfur, nitrogen olefin compounds.
● To produce LPG, light Naphtha and heavy Naphtha.
● Continuous monitoring of reactor temperatures and heater temperatures.
● Continuous monitoring of distillation column monitor parameters, separating propane and butane products and sending them to tank storage
