Act as a business partner to various functions by driving growth in current and new product, manage North America sales & standard profit performance and provide mitigating actions against current market and share conditions.

• Partner with program managers and VP GMs to provide financial analysis around new opportunities requiring capital appropriation requests, RFQs, pricing, cost and margin analysis, manufacturing footprint analysis, etc.
• Consolidate and manage forecast and profit plan for sales and standard profit for eight Truck North America operations at $1.5B in revenue.
• Collaborate with Economics team to understand trends around Class 8 market & PMI, share (internal and OEM share of market), product mix and risk around vertical integration threats
• Team with sales and marketing to support negotiation strategies for four major OEMs regarding pricing, surcharges/PPI, rebates and volume discounts, promotional programs, etc.
• Implemented forecasting process improvement to transition sales and margin monthly forecast from plants to division.

Key Learnings and Work Exposure:-

• Responsible for 12 Months Rolling Forecasts, Yearly Business Plan, Financial Modeling & Capacity Modeling for Support Organization.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost and expenses.
• Responsible for Monthly Dash-Boards, Operational Reporting, Margin Analysis Reports & other Adhoc Reporting.
• Analysis & Explanation of Variances in Budget Vs Actuals, Forecast Vs Actuals to the Support Leadership Team with detailed commentary on variances.
• Responsible for performing financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas, such as monthly P&L, expense analysis and KPI reporting.
• Identifying Risk and reporting to Stake Owners.
• Provide in depth Financial Analysis to Support Leadership Team on key decision making

Key Learnings and Work Exposure:-

• Spearheading entire gamut of operations which includes banking operations, cash management, budgeting, forecasting and MIS reporting
• Supporting the preparation of yearly budgets and rolling out monthly forecasts.
• Daily cash flow and funding requirements – to maintain the cash liquidity to run day to day operations smoothly
• Intercompany finance management: Loan, Deposits, Balance agreements and documentation
• Ensure compliance to group treasury policy and ensure monthly compliances are submitted by all the operation companies
• Managing and tracking the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and utilization parameters.
• Providing Adhoc reports to stakeholders as per their requirement.
• Monitoring of all payment issues and ensures closure in a timely manner to avoid settlement risk implications
• Preparing- 1. Cash Budget, monthly cash forecast and cash actuals reporting 2. Bank reconciliation (Daily and Monthly) : Monitor negative and overdrawn accounts to reduce bank charges
