This improvement was achieved through a series of optimizations and upgrades:

• Kubernetes Implementation: We introduced Kubernetes (K8s) to enable the automatic scaling of services based on demand. This ensured that the system could handle fluctuating traffic efficiently without manual intervention.
• Database Optimization: We focused on optimizing database queries and continuously engaged with the DBA to adjust system-level parameters for better performance. These efforts reduced latency and improved data processing efficiency.
• Distributed Caching: We moved several components to a distributed caching system(redis), which significantly decreased data retrieval times and reduced the load on the primary database.
• Load Balancing Integration: We properly integrated load balancers (Nginx) with multiple microservices to distribute traffic evenly across servers, ensuring no single server became a bottleneck
• Monitoring Tools: We introduced monitoring tools (Kibana & Zabbix) to track traffic patterns and system health in real-time. This allowed us to quickly identify and resolve any performance issues, maintaining system stability.
