Operations and maintenance

• Minimizing the elimination of the repetitive nature of breakdowns through statistical control tools and root cause analysis
• Managing overall plant operations and ensuring the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to ensure
• Timely accomplishment of operation targets within time and cost parameters initiated processes to bring about a drastic reduction in downtime by facilitating the engineering department with preventive maintenance jobs
• Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, analysis of repetitive failures of equipment
• Preparation of PM schedule, daily maintenance report, manpower report, PM checklist
• Assessing the needs of equipment replacements and establishing replacement programs
• Assessing hazards associated with the maintenance of equipment, forecasting of spare parts

Commissioning Area-

• Study of the project and drawing as per the planning sheet
• Site visit to check the condition of the site and discuss with the client regarding the erection of equipment
• Preparing a schedule and planning using MS Office and Word
• Inspection of all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances
• Maintain the DPR (Delay Progress Report)

Knowledge FGD SYS-

• Flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) material is a product of a process typically used for reducing SO2 emissions from the exhaust gas system of a coal-fired boiler
• Two types of FGD (dry and wet system)
• The absorber is the main part of FGD, like the heart
• FGD chemical reaction -

SO2 + CaCO3 + 1/2 O2 + H2O = CaSO4 + CO2

Sulfur dioxide + calcium carbonate + dioxygen + water = gypsum + carbon dioxide

• Conduct a toolbox talk
• Report all hazards and near misses to the safety department
• Able to perform 5S system
• Follow the company HSE rules and policy, and PTW system for cold, hot, and height, confined space work, etc
• Maintain environmental safety and safe housekeeping
• Familiarization with safety meetings and training, toolbox talk, task risk assessment, job safety analysis, life-saving safety rule, hazard identification and risk assessment engineering and control, high incident potential occurrence, medical treatment case, and loss time injury
• Ensure to use proper tools and tackles for the job and be familiar with standard operating procedures (SOP) and standard maintenance procedures of the plant
