1. Structural Engineering 2 (semester project) 

Group project

Designed the floor plan of a G+4 unit using AutoCAD, with assumed design specifications

 – Calculated the Live Load, Dead Load, and Wind Load of the truss section as per parameters set by IS875 for the Guwahati region and assumed design specifications

 – Structural Analysis and Visualization of the bending moment and shear force diagrams of the beams and columns of the structure over the calculated parameters in Staad Pro

Analyzed the reinforced column and beam section of the structure as per parameters set by IS 875 for the Guwahati region, and assumed design specifications

2. Schedule preparation and cost estimation of a 'Running Room' construction project

term project under Prof. Dr. Santu Kar, IIT Guwahati 

 – Designed the floor plan of a G+2 unit using AutoCAD with assumed design specifications

 – Prepared drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, estimated quantities of different works using the Centre Line Method

 – identified the activities required, estimated their durations, planned the resources, and prepared the schedule using MS-Project

 – analyzed rates of different works using the Unit Rate Estimation Method, thus estimated the total construction cost
