A seasoned and diligent Product Design Manager, renowned for meticulous and professional approach, with robust 12-year tenure in design, development, testing, and certification of electro-mechanical products across consumer durables, aerospace, consumer electrical and medical domains.

Started career in 'Engineering Design Services' (CAD), then worked in technology scouting of compliant mechanisms for product optimization (CAD + CAE), and then ventured into New Product design (NPD) and development (CAD + CAE + MFG). Worked in MNCs as well as top research institutes of India with objective of end-to-end product life cycle exploration to learn methodological, research (fundamental theories and principles) based and intuition based product or system design. Expanded expertise through diverse roles across medical, Consumer Electrical (earning utility patent for miniature circuit breaker - MCB), Aerospace, Agriculture (earning utility patent for artificial beehives), Cookware, Kitchen Appliances, Toys, and Industrial Automation domains.

So far, Launched two products (Multi-Purpose Shredding Machines), Released two products for beta testing (Panchakarma Therapy Device and Artificial Beehive) and released one product (Kitchen Appliance - BLDC mixer grinder) for sample production. And tested the Kitchen Appliance for IS 302/1 and ISO 4250 Certification.

Additionally, To help organic growth of team/organization, handled trainings on project tools and product design guidelines to interns, new joiners and all team members. Also, coached other senior team members to handle additional responsibilities and enabling their career growth.

• Initiated a new business verticals to offer CAD visualization (rendering) services and to offer ‘3D Scanning and 3D Printing' services for product reverse engineering and rapid prototyping.
• As co-principal Investigator wrote six business proposals.
• Successfully executed end-to-end Design and Development of a kitchen Appliance (BLDC Mixer Grinder) from Concept Design to Sample Production (Milestone Activities: 3D CAD Release, BOM Release, Rapid Prototype Release, DFMEA Document Release, Drawings Release, Assembly Sequence & wiring Diagram Release, PFMEA Document Release, Resource and Production Estimation, Assembly Site Layout Creation, Quality Inspection Plan creation, Sample Production, Pre-Certification Test and Functionality Validation, BIS & RoHS Certification Support).
• As Subject Matter Expert (SME), provided failure assessment and root cause analysis services to industrial product failures, for ex: Stacked parking system failure assessment for Flipkart.
• Intellectual Properties: 2 Technology patents, 3 Design patents and 1 Conference paper.
