Ramesh Vaddadi

Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager, Ramesh Vaddadi plays a pivotal role in enhancing Microsoft’s security monitoring capabilities for its Cloud Infrastructure and M365 Office Suite.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end delivery of security monitoring products and services from ideation to deployment.
• Defining security monitoring requirements and roadmaps based on business needs and threat landscapes.
• Driving advancements in detection platforms, including analytics engines, dashboards, and alerting systems.
• Integrating new data sources and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of monitoring solutions.
• Documenting and reporting on the detection platform and its metrics, such as coverage, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Collaborating across engineering, privacy, compliance, and business groups to ensure alignment of monitoring strategies.
• Driving adoption of security best practices and frameworks such as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Security Incident Management.
• Experience in driving engineering systems development and support in response to Software Security Incident Response Process (SSIRP).
• Experience in driving Security Operations with Intelligent SOC AI Bot Project, this project will help to reduce time spent on security investigations by leveraging AI/ML models that process alert data and perform verdict recommendations (True positive, False positive, and Benefit positive) during triage.
• Responsible to drive Security Compliance Management with the Microsoft Internal Compliance system (S360) and new KPIs to define, develop and maintain.
• Ramesh has also been instrumental in leading projects such as Intelligent SOC AI Bot, leveraging AI/ML models for cybersecurity investigations, and managing Microsoft’s Internal Compliance Tool (S360) to enhance security posture management through M365 Green Platform and Microsoft Co-Pilot capabilities.
• Keeping abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, and applying them to the detection platform and its use cases.
• Responsible for driving Objective-Key-Results (OKR) across the products and services.

During his tenure at NCR Corporation, Ramesh Vaddadi held various roles, showcasing his expertise in Secure Development Life Cycle(SDLC), Application Security, ATM security products development, McAfee Security products integration into NCR ATM stack, and fraud investigation.
