DPE/DCS (Goldman Sachs) Dec 2020-current

Worked here as a java and secdb/java developer, this was a re-arch project meaning we were migrating from secDB to java. The project provides robust platform for the traders to book, amend and settle the trades, the project provides efficient connectivity with clearing house which provides information on the trades cleared/rejected based on which we book the trade in our system or work on the rejects.

DPE was focused on acceptance and clearing of trades, DPE also provides connectivity to external trade booking platforms.

DCS was more focused on clearing, here GS acted as a broker providing clearing services for the customer.

My responsibilities here were,

• daily checkouts, to ensure all the systems are running fine, if not fix it
• make sure trades are cleared and those which are cleared booked in our system
• ensure the trade details sent by clearing house matches details in our system, if not fix it
• monitor the jobs generating reports, the reports are mainly reconciliation reports which highlights the mismatches
• maintenance: Add SSL certificates for the services if expired, updating the LINUX hosts to the latest version, update JDK to latest version
• decommission the old services or systems which are migrated to new platform

ClientSLE (Goldman Sachs Project) Sep 2020-Dec 2020

Worked here as a java back end developer, the project focuses on developing dashboards to view failed trade data. The project provides connectivity to various warehouses from where we get the details of failed trades and generate a dashboard to view, pivot and aggregate data.

My responsibilities here were,

• build dashboards to view failed trade data
• implement API’s in java layer to extract data from DB
• pull data from different sources
• build API to purge data
• build API to authenticate the users

Freight cargo Jan 2021-Feb 2022

Worked here as a java developer, the project focuses on building application to maintain the subsidiary branch “JMZ Cargo Pvt Ltd”.

My responsibilities here were,

• Daily checkouts
• Enhancements and testing
• Maintenance
• Generating report
• Build API’s to connect different systems
