NORDEA BANK

Nordea Bank Abp, commonly referred to as Nordea, is a Nordic financial services group operating in northern Europe with headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

  • Working for Nordea Bank in Technical Decommission Process across Europe Regions (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Sweden).
  • Identification of Applications and list out the Mainframe components like Batch Jobs, OPC Applications, Endevor Elements, Datasets & DB2 Tables with respect to the application team.
  • Analysis the Batch Job status, functionality and Dependencies.
  • Make a report of all the findings/investigation and reach out to Application owner/provider.
  • Take actions on cleaning up of Application related data from Mainframe.
  • Creating change request through Helix Portal for Decommission Process.

HBC (Hudson & Bay Company) 

Hudson’s Bay company is a Canadian retail business group. A trading business for much of its existence, HBC now owns and operates retail stores in Canada, the united states, and parts of Europe including Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations, monitoring & mainframe systems. Ensuring system stability,troubleshoot issues and coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Providing Batch support for 24x 7 which involves fixing the Production Abend, Monitoring the Batch cycle for the daily, monthly, weekly, yearly jobs and report the statistics to the client and to provide immediate fixes to the production Abend.
  • Respond to system alerts, job failures and other incidents, resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage Job Scheduling, Batch Processing and workload balancing.

  • Checking for look back issues on CA7 which helps in proper flowing of batch.
  • Forecasting schedules & contacting Schedulers for duplicate schedule.
  • Open and Monitor P1,P2 and incident tickets through Smart and Service Now and taking action.

NIELSEN 

Nielsen is an American Information,Data and Marketing Research firm. With a presence in more than hundred countries.

  • Worked for the Nielsen Client by delivering them the Viewers data in the process of Audience Measurement Service.
  • Involved in updating some of the root JCL's and demanding it to produce the report. Also involved working in VM part of the Mainframe.
  • Analyzing the client raw data and do conduct research using various applications
  • The research conducted will be documented in a designated case file in order to create an audit trail
  • Alerts need to be reviewed and either closed or subjected for further research
  • Releasing the reports on time through various applications
  • Requesting the Incident team to raise the Severity Tickets immediately in case of any error scenarios and engaging various technology team to identify and resolve the issues.
  • Attending the client calls and responding them at right time with absolute resolution.
  • Updating SOP with the correct updates which is circulated by the onshore SME’s to help for future researches.
  • Working as a Quality Analyst using various files types (Ex: Excel, PFD, text, etc.,).
