Title: IDR Asbestos

Client: NYC.

Role: Power BI and SQL Developer.

Environment: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and SQL Server Management Studio.

Duration: January 2022 to November 2022.

Responsibilities

• Interacted with the customer and team members to understand functional requirements.
• Design and develop the logical and physical database schemas.
• Creation of queries using Power Query.
• Providing best practices on the Power BI tool according to project requirements.
• Created reports and dashboards based on the reporting database, and published them to the PBI Service.

Title: ADIB (Banking Project)

Client: Abu Dhabi.

Role: Azure and Power BI Developer.

Environment: Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server 2018, Azure Synapse, Gateway Connection, Citrix Workspace.

Duration: December 2022 to October 2023.

Responsibilities

• Designed, developed, and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Created joins between tables to establish the relationship for obtaining the combined data.
• Designed and developed the reports in Power BI, and handled the visuals, dashboard, DAX calculations, and data validation.
• Developed an Azure Synapse linked connection to copy the data from the Azure SQL database to the dedicated SQL pool and insert it into Power BI.
• Worked on the different complex DAX functions in the measures.
• Connected to the DAX Studio, analyzing in Excel for Power BI performance analysis and data validation.
• Interacted with business users to understand the business requirements and data flow.
