Ranjan Kumar Patel

Assistant Professor (Radiodiagnosis), AIIMS-Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar

Summary

I am a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, India. Achieved national distinction by securing All India Rank 1 (Topper of the Country) in the 2015 All India postgraduate medical entrance examination. Extensive training at premier Indian institutions—including Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) has helped establish me as a specialist in abdominal and hepatobiliary interventions. My clinical focus is on HEPATOBILIARY INTERVENTION, and I have contributed to over 80 peer-reviewed publications, advancing research in vascular emergencies and complex liver procedures. Beyond my clinical role, I am a European Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (EBIR). I believe in multidisciplinary management, and a patient should be given the choice of all the possible treatment options before he/she choose one.
