After completing my graduation in BSC (Physics honors, along with Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects), I started my career in the shipping industry in 1997 as a deck cadet and swiftly got promoted to become a captain on board a cargo ship in 2009, especially container ships. Since then, I have taken command of ships ranging from 150 meters (18,502 gross tons) to 367 meters (150,754 gross tons). During this time, I was fortunate to sail around most ports and sea areas of the world. This period gave me the opportunity to gather vast experience in handling various exigencies & emergency situations, such as Heavy weather, fire, accidents, major injuries, engine/machinery breakdowns, man management etc. Having worked alongside a multinational crew, and being mindful of their culture, I have successfully been able to lead them as one team. Besides being a seafarer, I have been practicing the art of healthy and mindful living, taking teacher training for yoga and meditation. These skills have bolstered my ability to keep a calm composure under challenging situations, and to be an effective team leader with clear written and vocal communication skills. I am also adept with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. I had a 3-year stint of entrepreneurial experience in a diversified business of diamond jewelry manufacturing, interior design, and decoration. I am also a Vaastu consultant and dowsing expert in determining energy quality and flow in any space, and giving solutions to correct those anomalies. In my free time, I also make exotic, high-energy wooden, artefacts which are masterpieces in their own.
