A STUDY ON CUSTOMERS’ SATISFACTION TOWARDS ICICI BANK, ICICI Bank is India’s second-largest bank with total assets of Rs. 4,062.34 billion [US$ 91 billion] at March 31, 2011 and profit after tax Rs. 51.51 billion [US$1,155 million] for the year ended March 31, 2011. The Bank has a network of 2,630 branches and about 8,003 ATMs in India, and has a presence in 19 countries, including India. In the early 1990s, the then Narsimha Rao government embarked on a policy of liberalization, licensing small number of private banks. These came to be known as: Oriental Bank of Commerce, UTI Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. Foreign investors in banks may be given voting rights which could exceed the present cap of 10%, at present it has gone up to 49% with some restrictions. Research methodology: Based on Primary data.
