During the course of 2 months internship, my primary responsibility was to assist INCARE project team in conducting the following activities as

• NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) screening among tribal communities.

• Training the CHO (Community Health Officer) from various sub-centers in Chamarajanagar district.

• Creating awareness about these diseases in the community through activities like conducting street skits in different villages and other IEC (Information Education Communication) activities.

• Completed research, compiled data and assisted in timely reporting.
• Involved the qualitative analysis.
• Helped conducting In-depth interviews and focus group discussions.

Monitored National Polio Immunization Program in 2 Talukas of Belagavi District.

visited various PHC's and conducted household survey.

Screened for unimmunized children.

• Collaborated with team members to achieve target results.

• Teamed with other physicians, specialists and health care providers to provide well-rounded care for complex cases.
• Admitted and treated patients as part of hospital's 24-hour on-call services.
• Took detailed notes on patient conditions and diagnoses.
• Collaborated with doctors to give treatment and diagnose disease.
• Monitored post-operative recovery and educated patients on at-home recovery.
