  • Currently working at HPCL-MITTAL ENERGY LIMITED Refinery division, Bathinda, Punjab in Fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) and Propylene recovery unit (PRU) as Deputy Manager Operations from DEC 2018 to date. Total work experience of 14 years and 1 month.
  • 3 MMTPA capacity plant licensed by Technip Stone and Webster. (Detailed engineering EIL)
  • Have experience as DCS panel and field supervisor with all types of operations and handled emergencies such as emergency shut down, power failure, feed failure, equipment trip etc.
  • Daily alarm management to optimize alarm in DCS, regular prompt activity, LLF activity to increase reliability of equipment and instruments.
  • Direct Interaction with Technical Staff and coordination with maintenance department & following safety norms involved in unit start-up, shut-down & trouble shooting.
  • Carrying out daily maintenance jobs with safely equipment handover with work permit and JSA.
  • Unit leader of PSM element SOP.
  • Routinely review of SOP and carrying out Job cycle check. Performing PSSR for any new MOC commissioning.

  • Identifying abnormalities and taking corrective actions & trouble shooting it as soon as possible.
  • Study, suggestion, & implementation of change in process parameter to maximize the unit’s Efficiency, reliability & productivity.
  • To monitor the lab results & take necessary actions to maintain the quality specifications of the product.

DCS Operator

Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers

  • Prior to it I was employed with Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers, as DCS Operator in Ammonia Production Unit, from July-2011 to July-2016.
  • Plant licensed by ICI, UK. (Detailed engineering Humphreys & Glasgow Limited)
  • Planning day-to-day production activities, manpower handling and Meeting daily and monthly production targets.
  • Trouble shooting process related and equipment related problems, writing log-book for Shift operations, and reporting to Manager (Unit head) Operations.
  • Issuing of Work permits like hot work, cold work, Electrical and mechanical lockout permit and follow-up the job.
  • To achieve optimal running conditions with minimum down time, in co-ordination with maintenance, electrical, instrumentation and other service departments.
  • Continuous monitoring & study of process.
  • Planning and execution of annual shutdowns.
  • Carrying out Plant safe start up and shut down activities.
  • Maintaining of optimal operating parameters in normal running plant operations.
