Probity is an XML QC/QA service that allows for content XML and data to be processed through a variety of scripts in order to check and improve the quality by Editorial and Production divisions.

It is used for Quality Assurance testing, rendering, transformations and metadata creation of XML files. This is done by running user scripts in Probity. It is an interface for users to run their scripts on XML content.
