  Completed Projects in February 2023, well ahead of the Aero India where the same were demonstrated (These projects were stuck and delayed for various reasons for nearly 2 ½ years prior to my joining).

• Responsible for coordinating weapon integration on the Combat aircraft
• To ensure accurate deployment of PSQR specifications in MCA & combat aircraft upgrades.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Introduction of Maintainability concepts in design stage. Introduction of MRF tyres for Tejas fighter aircraft.

• To direct and oversee operations concerned with receipt & dispatch of aircraft rotables to field units
• To coordinate defect investigations and indigenization efforts of HAL Lucknow Division (LD).

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Stepping up HAL Lucknow Division Factories to meet the demand for Ex Gagan Shakti. Detection of design flaws in Su -30 Gyro display. Rectification of packaging and carriage of sensitive rotables. Flaws in microswitches for Jaguar undercarriage system. Laying down SOPs for Fault Analysis and rectification at HAL LD.

• Responsible for fleet maintenance and coordination with HAL and other system OEMs i.e., Dassault aviation, British Aerospace, Safran etc.

• Production and flight testing of prototypes/trainer/fighter aircrafts (Kiran Mk I/II, Hawk 132, Jaguar, IJT, Mirage 2000, Su -30 MKI and MiG 21)
• System design & development of avionics systems for basic trainers
• Part of the team responsible for auditing, IV & V of mission computer software for jets/aircraft upgradation.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Avionics suite and electrical architecture for Basic Trainer and Jet Trainer. Simulator for Jet trainer and Advanced Jet trainer aircraft. Work on data warehousing for the Jet Trainer aircraft program. Prototype flight testing of jet trainer aircraft. HUD and Weapon system integration flight testing. Airborne Radar, EFIS, get home panel, display systems, and Telemetry for Aircraft upgrade program. Flight testing of the upgraded fighter aircraft.

• Planning and conducting trials of various avionics and armament flight trials
• Responsible for providing necessary lab support for Test Pilots training course.
• Conduct of On Job Training for qualified Flight Test Engineers.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Initiated and formalized course for On Job Training of graduate FTEs. Avionics specifications for Aircraft avionics upgrade program. New telemetry system and Flight Test Instrumentation for the Testing Establishment. Videography for special stores Range instrumentation. Project Engineer and Project Manager for DARIN III Jaguar Aircraft Program.

• Lead a unit of 50+ professional instructors in conducting about 45 first and second-line aircraft maintenance training courses.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Commended by the Inspecting Authority for adding interactive multimedia for training, development of e-records and e-publications for the aircraft, and enhancing hands on practical training in all courses for technicians and officers Managed change from traditional maintenance training courses to the new maintenance trade system with Flight Line Mechanic concept and Specialist Second line system

• Second & Extended Third line servicing of Aircraft and its sub-systems, including Electronics, Weapons and Stores and Engine Test Bed.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Detection of root cause of UNA -82 platform failures and Diff T/P failure warning being on frequently in the aircraft of the airbase..

Recommissioning of Module Change Workshop (MCW) and Engine Test Bed for Jaguar Adour 811 Engines.

Recovery of low thrust engines at Engine Test Bed.

• Responsible for setting up of AJT cell, Avionics Specifications for Hawk 132, CNC and Contract running at Air HQHQ (VB) in coordination with Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Avionics Specifications for the Hawk Mk 132 aircraft and for all types of simulators/training aids for Advanced Jet Trainer

• Evaluation, Ground testing, aircraft integration of systems such as ASL GPS, ASARS, ASPJ, HHGPS and CMDS (During Kargil War), Speech secrecy module, Comjam and NVGs.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Project Engineer for Indigenous AEWS, Avionics specifications and definition of HUD pages for DARIN II Jaguar, ELTA Fire Control Radar on Maritime Jaguar aircraft. Successful evaluation, ground testing, aircraft integration, flight testing and induction in service of all the systems mentioned above.

• O i/c DSS and O i/c Radar Lab.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Adjudged best Engineer in first DASI inspection as Pilot Officer (Exceptional rating in DASI Engineering Test).

In a span of five years completed all exercises with flying colours. Set the IAF record for best Op TRS timing (18 minutes). Squadron adjudged Best Combat Squadron for three years consecutively. Selected for training abroad for Telemetry and Data Acquisition Systems in France.
