Summary
- I taught Religious Education classes at St. Thomas Catholic Church from 1994 -2015. This included teaching every grade at one point except for 2nd grade. I helped to facilitate the "Why Catholic" program for 4 years and the Adult Scripture Study class for 3 years, both at St. Thomas. I highly enjoy teaching and lecturing to enhance the knowledge of our Catholic faith to all ages. I have been a Chaplin for the Boy Scout Troop 203 at St. Johns Catholic Church from 2013-2019. I also taught the Ad Altari Dei program, which is the religious emblem for the Boy Scouts and I have been a Boy Scout Catholic retreat facilitator in past years. I also served on the Boy Scout Troop committee, helping to make decisions regarding the scouts and helping them with rank advancements. After St. Thomas combined and became St. Francis Xavier Parish, I then taught REP classes from 2015-2022. I have currently taken a break from teaching because I am pursuing my goal of being a deacon for our church. At this time, I am also serving on the Faith Formation Committee for St. Francis Xavier Parish.

Accomplishments
- Awarded the Bronze Pelican from Boy Scouts March 3, 2019. This is a Diocesan recognition granted by a Diocesan Catholic Committee on scouting with the approval of the Bishop. This award recognizes outstanding contribution to spiritual development of Catholic youth in Scouting programs.
