Work History

United States Marine Corps Radio Operator

United States Marine Corps Reserve
03.2024 - Current
  • Facilitated clear and effective communication between field operators, the Marines in my squad and command centers during critical operations.
  • Hiked with my Radio, Kevlar, Flak and the items needed for survival over the course of multiple day field operations that stretched over 50 miles each time.
  • Completed the "Crucible" as a fire team leader in boot camp. A "Fire Team" is a group of Marines comprised with different skills and attributes that compliment each other to accomplish the mission at hand. The Crucible is a 3 day field operation in which there is little to no food, sleep, or water in sweltering conditions where various grueling exercises are completed to earn the title of "Marine". I led my Marines through the Crucible and successfully completed every thing we were tasked with completing quickly and efficiently.
  • Aided in planning successful missions through participation in pre-mission briefings, sharing my knowledge on current communication capabilities and limitations throughout my ongoing time in the Marine Corps.
  • Unwavering Discipline, Honor, Courage, and Commitment was instilled in me throughout Bootcamp, Marine Combat Training and Transmission Systems Operating Course. I still practice these values in my day to day life in the Marine Corps.
  • Supported the mission at hand by consistently monitoring multiple channels for any relevant updates or communications in general from other command centers or mission related groups during simulated combat environments.
  • Installed, tested and operated radio equipment, adjusting settings to achieve desired transmission in the field.
