PLAN Foundation And Recity (Sistern Concerns)

Currently leading the HR and OD department at PLAN Foundation, an organization dedicated to societal betterment and environmental sustainability through CSR activities, particularly focused on solid waste management. PLAN Foundation operates in alignment with Recity, a sister concern aimed at maximizing plastic circularity.


In my current role, I oversee the entire spectrum of HR and OD functions across PAN India locations, managing a team of approximately 250 employees and 12 projects. Responsible for the entire organization development and employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives while fostering a culture of growth and sustainability.


Experience Highlights:


Change Management:


Led change management initiatives, including culture diagnosis and implementation of a robust Performance Management System (PMS) in collaboration with a top OD external consultant. A systematic change management plan was executed with training and communication strategies to ensure employee adoption of new system and create sense of ownership.


Organization Structure Design:


Experienced in designing organization structures and band structure, aligned with business needs and strategies. Conducted thorough research on various structures and collaborated with senior leadership to design a matrix structure for improved cross-functional collaboration. Successfully initiated a pilot program to test the new structure and analyzed results for implementation. Skilled in facilitating discussions and implementing changes to enhance organizational efficiency and alignment with business goals.


Department Restructuring:


Extensively worked on diagnosing challenges within departments, particularly the accounts department, through comprehensive problem diagnosis and job analysis. Collaborated with team members to understand their perspectives and challenges, leading to the successful restructuring of department. Budgeting/Cost Saving Initiatives:


Manage and prepare the HR & OD annual budget sheet, aligning it with organizational goals and optimizing resources. Implement cost-saving measures by tracking HR analytics to identify areas for improvement.


Diversity and Inclusion:


Dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the workplace, with a focus on monitoring D&I metrics. Extensively worked on pay parity within the organization. Implemented initiatives to prevent sexual harassment, including creating awareness and establishing a gender-neutral policy. Initiated 2 new programs to Improve Organizational Efficiency:


"Coffee With HR" Program: Initiated and implemented "Coffee With HR," a confidential forum for employees to express thoughts, concerns, and suggestions, aimed at gauging employee satisfaction and proactively addressing issues.


"Recall" Knowledge Sharing Initiative: Implemented "Recall," a monthly knowledge-sharing session where teams from each location gather to share insights, challenges, and successes, enhancing collaboration and efficiency across the organization.
