Our large-scale distributed network processes billions of records and works with Terabytes of data to provide valuable insights, deep diagnostic and telemetry to Akamai and its customers.

Coho Data was an Andreessen Horowitz funded Silicon Valley based storage startup, building web-scale data storage infrastructure. As Engineering Site Leader I was responsible for all the engineering deliverables from the Bangalore office working very closely with the Engineering and product management teams in the US, Canada and UK.

• Started India operations, been Board member of India entity, Managed, finance , HR and administration of Bangalore office
• Formed QA organization for company and successfully reduced 80% of Field escapes
• Worked closely with Sales , SE , PM and support organizations . Point of contact for various product certifications and delivered VMWare VAAI certifications for multiple ESX versions
• Part of product strategy team and contributed extensively to product roadmaps .
• Hired every member of team , responsible for Mentoring , Coaching, Performance reviews, awards, compensation rewards plan .
• Hands on contribution to Devops and infrastructure scripts , reporting dashboard for Jira and Zephyr for Jira .

Started the Client Virtualization team of Citrix, Bangalore and we conceptualized and delivered the first commercial client hypervisor in the industry.

• Hired and Trained a great team of Development and QA Engineers who have successfully contributed to multiple product releases for product group.
• Site lead and handled various responsibilities like budgeting, Cost center ownership, working with support groups to ensure smooth functioning of the team.
• Successfully helped integrate a M&A working with teams in India, US and UK
• Managed Sustenance Engineering team and worked on multiple hotfixes
• Product QA owner and ran SCRUM teams ,Rolled out various strategic initiatives and process improvements inside the product group.
• Owned and Setup test lab with ~100 client devices to run test automation,Worked with cross functional groups on Globalization, security,UX , Support services etc
• Was part of India leadership team and contributed to various cross-group initiatives like Agile practice , labs , learning circle , reward and recognition , Quality awards etc
• Worked with SEs and sales organizations in India , helped account manager and SEs with product demos, POC deployment and technical support and close orders

Joined Microsoft as a SDeT in the Mobile devices team and was part of all the product releases from 2004 -2009. As Test lead Managed a team of SDETs working on flagship version1 products in the Office Mobile suite.

• Hiring /Staffing Mentoring , coaching, performance reviews. drove multiple cross-group Engineering initiatives - Part of core group to implement Test driven Development across BU.

Joined as Engineer in consumer product group and in short span was given opportunity to lead product QA team .Participated in all phases of product life cycle.

• Worked on various client projects- MS SQL Server , Windows CE RDP , Microsoft Corporation , USA , JDEdwards CRM 1.2 Developed various tools and scripts for verifying Clustering environment Relational Engine test on Microsoft SQLServer7 & 2000
