Project Description:

Mouser Electronics is a global authorised distributor of semiconductors and electronic components for over 1,200 industry-leading manufacturer brands. Mouser specialise in the rapid introduction of the newest products and technologies targeting the design engineer and buyer communities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Analyzing the rules (Business Term) which are shared by Source team and developing the jobs in Informatica data quality Tool (IDQ).

● Knowledge on writing the code in PIM and getting the source data in the form of export format template.

● Scheduling the PIM jobs in the recurring format.

● Analyzing the jobs which we run in Production using Informatica Admin Console.

● Creating reusable optimized mapplets, which can be used for other standard rules.

● Creating mappings, workflows and applications

● Successfully deployed 5 jobs into production using IDQ.

● Resolved the Change request tickets which are raised by Business.

● Developing the new Data Quality jobs using Informatica Cloud data quality, Cloud data Integration and Cloud data Profiling, Also Migrating the IDQ templates to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud.

Project Title: Global Data Quality Project.

Project Description:

Unilever is a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company, headquartered in London, England & Rotterdam, Holland. Its products include food, energy drink, ice cream, tea, cleaning agents, beauty products, and personal care products. Unilever is the largest producer of soap in the world. Unilever is one of the oldest multinational companies; its products are available in around 190 countries.

Unilever wants to create a centralized trusted source for onboarding of the Master Data, which will incorporate a globally aligned enterprise wide single view of Material, Customer and Vendor Master Data. To achieve the same, Unilever wants to conduct data quality checks and measures against agreed business rules and make this an operational process to guarantee high quality data in the source systems on an ongoing basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Understand the requirement with the Business and Provide development effort estimation based on the RuleBook.

● Leading the team of 4 and distributing the tasks based on the complexities.

● Building T code tables based on the SAP ECC material master data.

● Build the DQ rules based on the business requirement.

● Created a generic table to have the reference data stored in a single table, to avoid multiple reference tables in IDQ.

● Creating reusable optimized mapplets, which can be used across countries/regions.

● Creating mappings, workflows and applications

● Generation of Error report with the help of PowerBI.

● Code Deployment across environments from Dev to QA and QA to Prod.

Project Name: MATALAN BI.

Roles &Responsibilities: Offshore (Data Quality and Data Governance), Data

Quality developer, Extracts Developer

● Analyzed Nova and SAS data and created data quality rules for all tables that are present in database.

● Documentation on Business Glossary for all business areas (Core, Sales, Stock, supply chain) and delivered to Matalan team.

● Resolving the tickets raised by testing team on data quality and Power BI reports

● Analyzed SAS Code Extracts, recoded it to SQL, and generated migrated Extract Data using Views and Stored Procedures based on client inputs.

Project Name : Business Intelligence Training

Technology: ANSI SQL, Core Java, Informatica Developer(IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter.

Project Objective: I have gone through Technology Training in Cognizant Technology Solutions and Completed all the assessments on ANSI SQL, Core Java, Informatica Developer(IDQ), Informatica PowerCenter.

MFRP Project During Training:

Project Description: We had data from source system which was provided in a flat file. The Data had to be Cleansed, Standardized and finally Merge duplicate records. Roles and Responsibilities:

● Created a cleansing rule to clean and standardize the Supplier name column, remove special characters

● Created a rule to standardize the phone number column, make null for invalid phone numbers

● Phone number with 10 digits are formatted to XXX-XXXXXXX

● All Special Characters are removed from supplier name and supplier address

● Date columns are formatted to DD-MON-YYYY format

● Created a mapping to perform the Match and Merge operation based on the match rule and golden data is loaded into a table.

Project Functionality: The target file should contain Golden copy of records.
