Role: ETL Developer and Data Analyst.

Description:

AXA is the leading Global Insurer, Investment Management and Financial service provider for its private customers, corporate and institutional customers with a diverse range of comprehensive insurance solutions. It operates in Western Europe, North America, India Pacific region, and the Middle East, with a presence also in Africa. AXA is a data conversion project, moving data from old legacy system to new application for private and corporate customer insurances. Different data base system like Flat file and oracle application data bases are transferring to new application.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Informatica code development for Project work, Enhancements and complex defect tickets resolving.

· Reviewed Codes, Specification documents, Effort Estimations, Technical detailed design documents to rectify bugs in the codes, understand business requirements, planning/suggestion for the code build, reviewing UAT test results and planning PROD deployments dates in order to avoid bugs in the code delivered to PROD and to avoid any delays/lags in the deployments.

· New Interface Developments: End to End based on the business requirement Documents and creating test case scenerios.

· Led to several Process Automation within the Project using Informatica, Shell Script and PL/SQL for many of the existing processes which needed manual intervention in case of Error.

· Master Data management and Analysis along with problem fixing  for each respective Entities/Clients. 

· Extensive experience in Design Mapping, Transformation rule and data extraction.

· Recommended process improvements and implementation to increase the Efficiency resulting in 50% reduction in overall backlogs.

· Database performance tuning by Adding Indexes/Oracle Objects on Big Tables.

· Minimized client escalations by implementing processes to track, monitor the business transaction files that were processed in the Database and to obtain the actual statuses for them which in turn helped to resolve the tickets/issues within stipulated time period.

· Complete mentorship of the new Joiner in the offshore team as well as Onshore counterparts.

· Perform Ambiguity Analysis of the business meaning of data.

· Understanding the user story acceptance criteria and analysis for Functional, technical specification documents. (SharePoint), Develop the Test scenarios and test cases in Oracle SQL and Informatica.

· Preparing test data according to business requirement in Test environment.

· Running Daily, Monthly and Yearly batch jobs using workflows in Informatica tool.

· Developed SQL queries for querying data against different data base system for data verification process.

· Validating the data for source to target system.

· Prepared weekly and monthly reports.
