  • Development of a Low Cost and Portable Field Deployable Malaria Sensing Kit.
  • Conducting wet-lab experiments: Protein expression and purification, Enzyme kinetics study of the expressed proteins (pfGDH, pfLDH), optimization of each component of the biosensing reaction, Clinical sample collection and analysis.
  • A smartphone-based application for detecting malarial biomarkers using an optical signal transduction approach has been developed.
