Dear Mr. Ringrose.
I have a passionate drive to teach and embed learning in young people and giving them the vision and stimulation to motivate their enthusiasm for music.
I have expertise in band, music technology in music production and musicals using software packages such as Garage band, FL Studio, Logic and Ableton Live.
My teaching and leadership programme that I introduced in the departments by working with the director of teaching and learning.
I set up a new peer assessment programme that the students kept, allowing them to see the progress they made in their folders. This corresponded to the data I had so they could achieve their goals set to each criteria.
I have been a co-ordinator for G10 in setting up the units of work and distributing them to my colleagues for PCUP.
I have composed, arranged and been a musical director on numerous occasions in my school career having experiences in start up schools and established schools with a strong reputation in the department of performing arts.
In my role as a coach for school children in the UAE and China, I had the exciting opportunity to lead after-school programs in football, tennis, and swimming. Each sport offered a unique way to engage students and promote teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness. In the UAE, I emphasized skill development and sportsmanship, while in China, I focused on instilling a strong sense of dedication and resilience. These experiences not only allowed me to share my passion for sports but also helped me build meaningful connections with the children, fostering their growth both athletically and personally.
