• Oversee and manage all legal matters of the company, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, licences (including renewals), contracts, and litigation. This excludes Finance (Direct & Indirect Tax, MCA Compliance, FEMA Compliance, Transfer Pricing Compliance) and HR (PF, ESIC, PTAX & Health Insurances) compliance.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to the senior management team and other departments as and when required. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements as and when required.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s business and provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters.
• Handle legal disputes and manage the company’s response to litigation and regulatory inquiries.
• Obtain, validation and continuous update of all customers, publishers and vendors KYC information and maintaining repository of the same and carrying out due diligence pertaining to KYC verification on various platforms
• Preparation and review of agreements related to employees, interns / trainees and consultants.
• Drafting HR related policies and guidelines including but not limited to POSH.
• Extending support to new joiners / existing employees in educating on essential legal compliance through induction / interaction and highlighting any breach or gap to the senior management.
• Providing support to HR division on critical exit cases including but not limited to termination.
• Sending legal notices including follow ups to customers, consultants, vendors and employees as and when necessary.
• Independent maintenance of all registers and records related to applicable Labour Laws excluding PF, ESIC & PTAX.
• IT Compliance for Viacon as and when required
• Preparing Website related policies
• Liaise with external counsels as and when required
