- Deliver quarterly valuation results, which include Disclosure and P&L for the Korea business based on the IFRS 17 accounting standard. Prior to 2024, the results were based on US GAAP and EVM.
- Provide cost and benefit analysis on cash flow and reserve due to assumption changes, model onboarding, data updates, recapture of business, and other tasks.
- Analyze the Experience Studies results for mortality, persistency, and other assumptions, and take appropriate actions to incorporate them into valuation.
- Perform capital adequacy checks based on the Korean Insurance Capital Standard (KICS) using shock scenarios on different assumptions.
- Assess the credibility of appropriate and accurate data through data checks for valuation and modeling purposes on a quarterly basis.
- Analyze the impact of new business deals on valuation and provide attention to special products like transactional deals, mass lapse deals, and other products with special features.
- Provide sensitivity testing if required for any problem, and also calculate a few things like scaling and tranches manually to validate the final results.
- Provide training to new hires and within the team if required.
