Ahold USA is Retailing Industry which focuses on all types of Merchandise which started in 1887, with the founding of an Albert Heijn grocery store in Oostzaan, The Netherlands. The grocery chain expanded through

the first half of the 20th century and went public in 1948. In the mid-1970s, the company began expanding

internationally, acquiring companies in Spain and the United States.

Under a new leadership team, which for the first time did not include any members of the Heijn family, the company accelerated its growth through acquisitions in the latter half of the 1990s in Latin America, Central Europe and Asia. On 24 June 2015, Delhaize Group reached an agreement with 'Ahold to merge, forming a new company, Ahold Delhaize.

Ahold Delhaize USA is currently doing its operations for – Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, Stop & Shop New England, and Stop & Shop New York Metro, Hannaford, Food Lion – along with Peapod, the nation’s leading online grocery shopping and delivery service. All these brands in U.S. operate a wide variety of store formats – from hypermarkets to local supermarkets and convenience stores – offering thousands of food and non-food items. Many of local stores have on-site pharmacies, delicatessens and gasoline stations.

1. Vendor MDM (July 2021 to till date) – Test Specialist Database Testing

· Vendor MDM is used as a central repository to store all the vendor details that are dealing with all the brands in Ahold Delhaize USA.

• Testing: For Vendor data coming from different source systems and loaded into a target data base, validations are done for all the vendor related attributes

2. Product MDM (March 2021 to till date) – Functional Testing, SIT, Regression, Integration, Database, Workbench, Mainframe testing

· Product MDM is a central repository where all product related information is stored which gives organizations a single version of product master data, delivering significant operational efficiencies and improving business performance. Product MDM contains item/product data which is used for transactional/analytical systems. This data is needed to manage stock and inventory in the stores and to introduce any new product into the market.

• Testing: Web Portal – Testing is done using STIBO Systems STEP - Supplier and Associate portals, where of Creation, Maintenance of items is done based on distribution, packaging hierarchy,type of item, Brands associated, facilities, Vendors ad DC information.
• Automation Testing: To Create, Maintain and Brand-Add Items Automation is done on STEP Portal.
• Integration Testing: For Ahold brands, integration testing is done on ACES portal, where all the data coming from STEP is validated in ACES.
• For Delhaize brands, integration is done in SEGA.
• Mainframe tool, where all the data coming from STEP is validated in SEGA.
• Workbench testing: STIBO Systems uses workbench, which is a replica of STEP portal, that contains all the attribute related data. Prior to testing in Web portal, all attribute specific validations are verified in workbench.

Currently working as Test Specialist at IBM INDIA Private Limited Bengaluru from Jan 2021 to till date. Assessed accuracy of data and documents by utilizing standardized measurements and tests.
