I had the privilege of managing a Greenfield Joint Venture Project worth $25M investment in Bangladesh. This project involved setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit on Bangladesh soil.

Started working as Technical project coordinator ( System Integrator) for Whirlpool India's 1st Bottom Mount manufactured in India.

Got recognized for the Pinnacle award in 2019 for this role.

I was integrating with all the key subsystems to develop the product technically.

• Coordination with subsystems to Identify the failure modes, Making a timeline for product development, Cost take out initiative, BOM review to meet the targets & Making a Quality plan to achieve quality Targets.
• Teaming with other cross functions to get the proper support to meet the defined deliverables of Cost, Quality, Timeline.

Leading Cost & Quality Team.

• Analyzing the field data and finding the root cause for the failures. Reducing the failures by simulating field conditions and modifying the design accordingly.
• Structured D8 approach towards design outfield issues.
• Systematic problem solving through six sigma methodology.

Structural Engineer New product Introduction.

• Understanding the customer needs from house of quality.
• Preparing the proper engineering solutions to satisfy that customer need.
• Proper selection of the solution on the basis of manufacturability, Cost, Quality, Modularity & Serviceability point of view with the help of a proper tool like Pugh Matrix or AHP.
• Making the proper simulation plan and validation plan for the entire life cycle of the product with the help of DVP & R & FMEA.
• Checking the design with different tools from a proper fitment and functionality point of view like Tolerance stack up, C-Tol , etc.
• Implementation of the new design with the first time right approach.
• Solved problems during the implementation with proper analytical methods like Though map, Process map, Product Map, MSC, COV & DOV.

Mfg Line in charge.

• Helped in solving assembly line related issues and launching the 3 Door project first time in the market with first time right cost & quality by suggesting the design changes to the project team.
• Involved designer to design the parts such a way that assy line time gets reduced and 3 door product also should get manufactured in the same manpower.
• Also helped in reducing cost of the product by implementing new innovative ideas like reduction in change over time of the fixtures, reduction in scrap by changing the small small designs without affecting its basic function.
• Involved in finding solutions to Common cause problems by six sigma way Y=F(X).
• Increasing the OEE (Overall equipment efficiency) by reducing cycle time, reducing rejection & reducing starting and stoppage losses.
