Roles and Responsibility:

• Modelling Stage drawings preparation for Atlas Copco Pinion assembly, Pinions and Bull Gear Assembly in Creo 7.0.
• Routing and document preparation in windchill.
• Manipulation tool creation for in process handling of Parts.
• Heat Treatment tasks for Gears for Inhouse Carburizing.
• Gear Calculations for Gear Processing in Gearcal and Fubri.
• Standard Times calculations for Hobbing and OD Grinding.
• Shrink Fit calculations for assembly of Parts.
• Interaction with Atlas Copco customer for Problems and Doubts in the drawing.
• Releasing of the parts to Production and close collaboration with the Belgium Colleagues.

Process Knowledge:

• Heat Treatment Carburizing, Turning, Drilling Tapping, Grinding, Teeth Grinding, Hobbing
• Coating knowledge of Process HVOF and TDC.

Special Projects:

• Template Creation for Bull Gear, Pinions in Creo for reduction of time for Methods.
• Packaging creation for Prismatic Parts.
• Projects handling for various internal departments in MARI.
• Report Creation and analysis of the Performance.
• Fixture creation for shaping of ring gears internal splines for IGW Iasi.
• Training to new colleagues on Process knowledge.

• Products: Propeller shafts, Axles, Gears, Steering Parts, Clutches, Double Cardon Assembly, Forging and Casting Flanges, Axle Shafts
• New Product Design and Development using tools such as APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, DFSS, PPAP etc
• Preparation of Engineering Drawings and Control Plans using proper GD & T and tolerance stack up as per ISO standards
• Design and development of Forgings, Castings, Sheet Metal, Rubber and Plastic components of Propeller Shafts, Steering assemblies, clutches
• Design verification using Analysis software such as Hypermesh (Static, Fatigue, Model, Optimization analysis) Material selection for various components as per applications
• Knowledge of Jigs, Fixtures, Tools, Gauges
• Customer data management for VECV using ENOVIA PLM
• Selection of proper Heat treatment process as per Design requirement such as Induction Hardening, Tempering, Normalizing etc
• Expert in ERP system for BOM and other engineering related activities
• Leader of many VAVE Weight reduction projects
• Expert in Engineering change management
• Planning and execution of Engineering IATF audit activities effectively
• Use of ISO, IS, DIN standards for design activities.
