• Solutioning & Product Management: Market Analysis, Customer Discussions, Product Strategy and Concept Design.
• Governance & Planning: Product development gates planning, deployment and reviews to ensure compliance, quality & risk control
• Cost Competitiveness: Strategy and implemention of cost competitiveness actions
• Business Case & Finances: Assessment of Business Case, ROI, Funding Need; Budget Management
• Executive Alignment: Reviews with Function Heads & Executive Committee, Alignments & Approvals
• Stakeholder Management: (i) Drive Cross Functional team of (~40 direct contributors) including Engg, Operations, Sourcing, Planning, Quality, Lifecycle Services to achieve program goals (ii) Cross functional team mentoring, transitioning and Knowledge Management
• Goal to Action Plan: Direct, review and monitor action plans for implementation by Sub-system Managers to achieve KPIs and continuous improvement through optimization of design, processes, industrial practices, supplier co-engg, re-sourcing/ localization, supply chain, financial strategies and life cycle performance assessments.

• Lead Rolling Stock Bids (Solution, Cost & Delivery Schedule)
• Drive large cross functional team in matrix org.
• Drive formulation and implementation of Win Strategy pertaining to Product, Operations, Planning, Cost, Cash, Pricing and associated Risk Mitigation plans through stakeholder alignment (direct contributors and other functions like Commercial, Legal, Finance, Governance etc.)
• Experience in Bids of Semi-High Speed Trains, Locomotives and Metro Trains from $150M to $2B+.
• Cost Competitiveness Programs for Locomotive and 25kV Metro Train solution
• Project return of experience assessment, analytics and distribution for implementation.

• Costing for Rolling Stock Bids
• Propose cost strategy
• Drive teams for optimization and convergence to targets
• Perform financial analyses
• Create & present proposals/ scenarios
• Key-User for Mercury (Costing Tool)
