As a Functional Lead for Mainframe Surveillance & Monitoring team, responsible for:

• Designing & developing alerts for active monitoring of Mainframe systems to mitigate risks to the organization
• Digital Certificate Management
• Remediating vulnerabilities found in Qualys scan
• Conducting bi-weekly CAB meetings in the role of Change Champion
• Maintaining on-call roster for the team
• Handling all internal & external security audit requests, answering all questions related to risk & compliance
• Developing automation solutions wherever possible
• Conducting quarterly/annual performance reviews for the team members

• Managing end to end security for Mainframe using IBM security product RACF
• Using zAlerts to configure & monitor alerts related to Mainframe Security
• Managing/creating batch jobs as required
• Conducting internal training for the team depending on the requirements
• Identifying vulnerabilities & gaps & working towards remediating the same

• Single point of contact(Tech Lead) for all technical queries & escalations related to mainframe security - RACF.
• Automating manual tasks
• Assist & advise other teams working for clients using ACF2 & TSS as & when required
• Digital Certificate management, including installing, renewing & removing expired certificates
• Assist in periodic activities like internal/external audits, business continuity exercise etc.

• Led 2 year long project to streamline access management (RACF), which involved converting existing ad-hoc approach to a role-based approach
• Worked closely with almost all internal support groups & client teams
• Ensured the role-based access management approach was implemented on the companies acquired by the client, during the integration phase itself
• Helped automation team in integrating OEM Aveksa IM Tool with RACF
• Routine RACF support & maintenance activities

• Creating, deleting & modifying user accounts including privileged accounts, service accounts, STC IDs & batch IDs.
• Defining, modifying & deleting security resource profiles including USER, GROUP, DATASETS & General Resources.
• Access Control & Auditing

• Ensure adherence to SLA's related to Incident, Request & Change Management.
• On-Call Support

• Worked with AS400 monitoring team
• Worked with Pre-Sales team to prepare RFP for upcoming project related to Mainframe (including RACF support)
• Worked with Delphi application support & development.

• Access & Identify management for business users & internal support staff on various platforms including but not limited to Active Directory, AS400, Mainframe (RACF & ACF2).
