  • Worked on automating the image conversion for Veeva Promomats to be consumed by Auto ML. Wrote python and bash scripts to convert pdf files to high-resolution images (jpg) for the AutoML to classify superscripts, images and text. Veeva promomats mostly contain pdf documents, whereas Google AI image custom classifiers for claim extractions need images for extracting superscripts and texts. Tried configuring different sets of resolutions in multiple python libraries (pdf2image/pillow/Ghostscript/wand)to get the best possible image. Played a vital role in the ETL process, automating the conversion of pdf to images.
  • Implemented Custom Data Quality checks to ensure delivered data were of utmost quality.
  • Worked on AWS Lambda functions to copy raw data to s3 buckets to facilitate data ingestion in SHARP layer.

  • Worked with the DevOps team in automating the data upgradation and data pipeline using AWS glue, Kubeflow and Cloud data fusion. Worked on creating crawlers to pull the data and create athena tables. Tried out Kubeflow and Cloud data fusion to build the data pipeline and transform data to parquet and use the same to create athena tables in AWS and also tables in Google cloud. Worked with the DevOps team in creating jobs to automate the data injection to s3.
  • Ingested the above mentioned data(IQVIA, LAAD, MarketScan, O2, Veeva Promomats, Symphony Oncology RWE) from the data source and created tables out of it. Also worked on creating the incremental tables for the above dataset, as and when there was an update.
  • Optimized the complex sql queries that was hard to return the query results. Broke down complex queries such that it didn't return resource exhausted error while running from athena console.
  • Wrote complex sql queries to determine the top physicians, top drugs ,geo physician distribution by drug, patient distribution, physician distribution and geo patient distribution by drug and generated the json files to display the data in graphical format which the stakeholders were appreciative of.
  • Took over from Sonata and worked on automating & generating the compliance reports and update the documents to box folder for review and was instrumental is getting the eDRT sign off for iFeno clinical trial.
